After moving home from Colorado and spending a year to work on myself and my relationship with God, I found myself praying and asking God to help me find someone that would help keep Him at the center of our lives. Not long afterwards, I came across an ad for a dating app called "Hinge" ("The app designed to be deleted"). I had tried dating apps before to no avail. However, I felt an urge to give this app a try.

I'll never forget the moment I came across the profile of the most beautiful girl I had every seen. On the surface, she appeared to be everything I could ever hope to find in someone so I knew I had to get to know her. After sending a couple messages back and forth, I immediately knew there was something special about this girl. Just our text conversations had so much depth. When we had our first phone call (which lasted for hours), I knew this was going to lead to something truly special. We scheduled our first date on that first phone call.

When the day came for our first date, it seemed like everything that could go wrong, went wrong. My truck's cylinders started misfiring just over halfway to pick her up, while my phone was dead at the same time. Long story short, our date ended up being much later than originally planned. However, seeing her beauty in person for the first time had me mesmerized. Luckily, she agreed to a give me a second date the very next day, and the rest is history!

Alexandrea has quickly become my best friend and true life partner. She brings out the best of me, and encourages me to be the best version of myself. I truly could've never imagined finding someone as amazing as her. Her whole family has been so incredible and welcoming. I couldn't have dreamed of marrying into a better family. God is so good!
